Weekends in the summer

This weekend felt like how I wanted my entire summer to be. On Friday I went out with a couple of friends in DC. Clubbing is one of those things that you build up in your mind, but ends up to be not as fun as it is in your head. Whatever, good company made it pretty fun anyway. After that I came back and hung out with a couple of my neighbors who are getting ready to move out. Its funny how you don't appreciate having people around until they are gone. Seeing people outside of work is also pretty awesome :P

Saturday was a Potluck with a bunch of people from college, and a couple HS friends. It is kinda odd being the only one of my friends from HS who did not end up being in a steady relationship in college. It was pretty great meeting everyone's GFs, and reconnecting with all the people who had spent their summer abroad. Winning settlers using a Monopoly card was sweet.

Sunday was just hanging out playing games with new people. It reminded me how glad I am to be in college still, and how scared I am of the real world. Maybe I should just go to grad school :D

Random Story of The Day:
One of my friends threw a party so that this guy she was interested in would be able to come over in a more casual situation. It turns out that he was busy, so it turned out to be just ten of us having ridiculous fun. Good times.
